About Me

Hi, I’m Emily! My passion for animal welfare and training began with horses at a young age. When personal medical struggles hindered my equestrian career, I dove my heart & soul into dogs. Becoming a Service Dog handler in my early teens solidified the trajectory of my life! After working at a large-scale kennel in high school– handling everything from nervous mini-doodles to bomb-sniffing malinois– I graduated early to pursue Animal Behavior College and a training apprenticeship with a local K9 Training facility. I was blessed to spend years apprenticing under various mentors & training for Dog Sports while professionally training all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and issues. Through years of facility management and training hundreds of dogs, I developed four very strong beliefs:

• One-Size-Fits-All, lengthy Board & Train programs are not my style
• A “trained” dog is nothing without an educated & empowered owner
• Training sticks longer when dogs practice in environments that simulate their home life
• A calm, confident, collected mindset is more valuable than commands

These four beliefs lead me to launching The Logical Dog℠. My mission is to provide life-changing positive experiences for dogs, education for owners that resonates, and training that truly makes sense to EVERYONE involved.

• Overnight Training Camps (Board & Train)
• Day School (pick up & drop off available)
• Individual Coaching (your home/public location)
